Aqua the Vaporeon Chapter 21

(Aqua's POV)
"Sally," I said. "what are you talking about? I never commanded any troops!" Before Sally could yell at me again, Monkey Khan stepped in. "Sally, when did 'Aqua' attack?" "She attacked around noon! With the most disturbing army I've ever seen!" "Sally that's impossible. I first met Aqua around noon!" "What!?" she exclaimed. "But, I saw you, Knuckles saw you, and Espio saw you to! You were wearing some type of weird clothing." That's when I snapped. "Sally!," I yelled. She looked surprised from my sudden outburst. I grabbed her arms though the bars of the cage and said with the strongest voice I could muster up "I would NEVER do that to you! Not Knuckles, not you, and certainly not Espio! Look me in the eye and say I would betray everyone I cared about!"

Sally looked me in the eye and said nothing. She saw how serious I was about this. She saw that I would never hurt anyone I held close to my heart. "Aqua?" she said with a hopeful voice. I shook my head and said "Yes Sally. It's really me." She hugged me through the cage bars and began to cry. "Aqua! It really IS you! I thought the Aqua I knew was gone forever! We all thought the Sea of Black Tears took you away from all of us!"  "Don't worry, The Sea of Black Tears isn't strong enough to do that."

After convincing Sally, the others began to wake up. They had the same reaction Sally did and practically pried the bars off in anger. Luckily, they were calmed down after Monkey Khan and Sally explained everything. While all of this was happening, the other Freedom Fighters were working on getting everyone's cages. They finally managed to get them open. Then I noticed two things. "Where's Espio?" I asked. Everyone looked around, but there was no answer. "Espio!" Still no answer. I suddenly felt like I was going to faint. Monkey Khan and Sally noticed this and tried to calm me down. "Aqua, don't worry. We'll find Espio, it's gonna be okay." Sally said.

I finally managed to calm down and think about the second thing I noticed. "Hey guys, look at the bottom of the cages." I said pointing at the cages. When they all looked down at the cages, I said "Look, there are two long poles horizontally across the bottom. It looks as if they were about to take you guys somewhere." "She's right," Sally said. "but the question now is where were they taking us?" "Yea, I wonder if-" before I finished my sentence, there was a groan behind me. I turned and saw that it was one of the guards waking up. Then, from seeing the guard, I got an idea. "Knuckles," I said looking at him. "Yea Aqua?" he said. "How good are you at interrogating?" He answered me with an evil looking grin.

(Espio's POV)
After she stopped chanting that untranslatable language, Aqua pulled out a necklace. It was like a stalactite made of wire. It had a black gem inside of it with a little charm above it that had the same colored gem. "Now," she said. "we make the perfect world with this stone." Aqua then slowly went down on her knees and said "This jewel was the first black tear to ever form. It fossilized, and when we found it, we found out it had special magic. It could turn any body of water into black tears. As long as we all believe in it's magic, it will do what we've all dreamed about!" She dipped it into the water and, to my horror, what Aqua said was true. The water slowly began to turn black and it spread in the blink of an eye. From beautiful and blue, the ocean turned ugly and onyx black.

"Now," Aqua said. "we will be free of war and crime forever! Not only that, we will have a king!" She said that turning to me. "You," she said pointing at one of the Gravediggers. "fetch the chalice, and fill it with the black water. It is time our guest finally comes to terms with us."
